Jeu Mencast

"Photography is a way to listen to the inner self".

Represented by Verse Gallery.

Jeu MenCast (1994, Bogotá) is a photographer and visual artist based in Bogotá, Colombia. For nearly a decade, she has been developing a body of work centered on street photography and the observation of urban environments, focusing on the rhythms, tensions, and emotional textures that shape everyday life in the city.

Her practice combines aesthetic sensitivity with a critical gaze toward public space. Through the interplay of light, movement, and spontaneous gestures, her photographs reveal the city as both an emotional and social landscape where human presence interacts with architecture and urban structures.

MenCast has participated in several exhibitions and has received recognition through artistic grants and open-call awards, strengthening her trajectory within the contemporary photography scene. She continues to develop projects where the city, sensory perception, and photographic language remain in constant dialogue, contributing a distinctive and personal perspective to contemporary urban photography.
